The Maroon Bells is the most stunning and beautiful group of mountains to represent the Colorado Rockies. The Maroon Bells are located just outside of Aspen. The print reveals the splendor of the Maroon Bells in a winter setting which reveals the unique faces of the two 14,000 foot mountains that make up the Maroon Bells. The setting is beautiful with the lake below which reflects like a mirror these attractive mountains. The image is a linoleum reduction print. The print image size is 8 inch wide by 11 inch high.

Located east of Española it is on the high road that will arrive at Rancho de Taos. It is west of the Santuario de Chimayo . It sits just off the road to the south in a narrow tree bordered setting. The choosing of this multi-color wood block print was its crisp shape against the fall foliage in the background. The galvanized roof with its scarring of reddish rust also added to its striking appearance. Many of the family owned adobe chapels in New Mexico have used the galvanized roofing since it is durable, cheap and less labor intensive than the old days of thatching or wood shingling.

Located on the high road from Española to Rancho de Taos the las Trampas adobe church is located in a small village area of Las Trampas and was settled with the King of Spain’s permission in 1706 by 12 families. They eventually built this handsome Spanish classical mission style structure in 1761. Similar churches with this mission style are found in many of the Indian Pueblos such as San Ildefonso just outside Española. It has been well maintained and preserved and is used as a working church for the area. Las Trampas is north of Ojo Sarco and Penasco on the high road. The image size is 7 inches high by 10 inches wide and can fit a 9 by 12 inch frame.

often a favorite for artists because of its unique appearance. A private chapel off of NM 67 south of Rancho de Taos, NM. It sits in the small hamlet of Pilar where the Rio Grande River meets the highway up from Espinola and Santa Fe.
